As we know, the best voices for advocacy and change come from the students themselves. Their big voices create influence, and they can promote a culture of excellence in all that they do. Our team wants to continue to identify the needs of student leaders, watching them succeed and influence the next phases of IL HPP. To do that, we’re looking for students to join the IL HPP Student Leadership Committee (SLC)!
This team serves as one voice from all participating IL HPP chapters and individuals. Participating students will gain new insights to inspire others, influence the direction of events and content, and increase their leadership skills to impact their school and community. The SLC will be driven by IL HPP’s core values: excellence, leadership, and commitment.
The first meeting will take place in a hybrid format, so students can attend virtually from wherever they are in Illinois, or in person at the OMNI Youth Services building (1111 Lake Cook Road) on Wednesday, September 6th from 7:00-8:00 p.m (hybrid).
